Owner, Founder and CEO

Sam Loves to create, build and restructure businesses and help develop entrepreneurs and salespeople.  Over the past four decades, he's launched and operated numerous successful ventures that have grown, prospered and led to financial independence.  As a former teacher, there's nothing he enjoys more than sharing his knowledge and expertise with people who are looking to do the same.  Sam has extensive leadership experience in business, government, labor relations, and education environments, and is author of Common Cents, a book about politics, economics, government and human behavior.

Maribeth A. Lucci, Ph. D.
Owner and Director of Training

Maribeth Lucci, Ph.D. - She earned her Masters degree in 1991 and her Doctorate degree in 2001, both from Duquesne University.

In 2001, Maribeth, along with her husband, Sam, founded Partners Through People, a sales training and business development company. As the Director of Training, she thoroughly enjoys teaching, helping salespeople and sales managers develop professional skills, and assisting other small business owners, like herself, realize their company's, their employees' and their own potential.

In 1996, Maribeth began her work in professional development, specifically in developing salespeople into sales professionals. In 1997, Maribeth became the first salesperson for Pittsburgh Bath Fitter, selling over $1,000,000 worth of acrylic tub/shower and wall systems in her first year. She is now the sales manager of seven full time Bath Fitter salespeople, the manager of Sunny Solutions, the full service bath remodeling division of the company, and she oversees their three retail showrooms.

Maribeth's work in the mental health field included being an intake counselor at an area MH/MR and a therapist. She volunteered as a counselor for battered women, and she worked at Mom's House, a nonprofit agency that provides child care and counseling for young mothers who are completing their education.

Principal and Sales Trainer

Arthur has spent more than 20 years in business and engineering and his experience -- providing turnkey technology solutions is in demand worldwide.  He has worked with companies such as Allied Signal, Sybron Chemicals, and U.S. Filter to develop and implement strategic marketing plans, directing business development teams, and building sales teams.  As an executive and manager, his keen knowledge of negotiating and bidding processes has been directly responsible for sales growth totaling more than $100 million worth of business.
 
William J. Hergenroeder, CPA

Bill brings two important, interrelated strengths to our team:  he's a Certified Public Accountant and an entrepreneur.  As a partner in a successful accounting firm, a sole practitioner and a longtime CPA, he's spent more than 30 years working with numerous clients of all sizes, providing expert accounting and financial counseling.  Membership in numerous professional organizations along with hours of continuing professional education enables him to advise clients on current tax and accounting developments.

Herbert E. Brown, Ph.D.
Former National Director of Marketing

Herb had more than 35 years experience as a business owner, sales professional, educator and consultant in the marketing and sales management fields.  He taught at Miami, Rutgers, The Ohio State University, Wright State, Southern Illinois, Robert Morris, the ESSEC graduate school of Management in Sergy-Pontoise, France, and the University of the Frontier in Temuco, Chile.  Dr. Brown was the founding, executive director of the Massey Center for Business Innovation and Development at Robert Morris University where he taught entrepreneurship and built a degree program in entrepreneurship.  Dr. Brown's Ph.D. is from The Ohio State University.  He published dozens of articles and is the author of a book:  Cases in Direct Response Marketing.  Among the honors he received are the Wright State University College of Business Outstanding Scholarship Award, the Distinguished Community Service Award from his hometown of Fairborn, Ohio, and selection by the Ohio Jaycees' as one of the state's Top Ten Outstanding Young Men in 1975.
